Fiskesprell is proud to take part in One Ocean Week in Bergen, contributing to a week dedicated to the ocean’s role in sustainable development, food systems and future solutions. Our presence highlights the importance of seafood knowledge and food education for children and young people as part of building healthy eating habits.
As part of the programme, Fiskesprell will be involved in “Taste the Ocean: Student-Led Seafood Adventures with Fiskesprell” on Monday, 20 April at 1.00 pm aboard Statsraad Lehmkuhl. There, 7th grade pupils will showcase their winning seafood dish, Bacalao lasagna, which they have developed through Kokkesprell, a classroom-based cooking competition linked to the food and health curriculum. The activity highlights how practical cooking and creative participation can make seafood more accessible, engaging and relevant in everyday school life.
